According to F-H, women account for 41 percent of its senior management team, 68 percent of its middle managers, and 67 percent of the total staff.
Working Mother, which reaches 3 million readers, is the only national magazine targeted at career-committed mothers. This year's list focuses on companies that have not scaled back benefits because of the harsh economic climate, as well as those emphasizing flexible scheduling and allowing family leave for fathers.
Seventeen years ago, when the magazine first issued the list, it could only find 30 companies doing anything of significance for working mothers. The list has since become a catalyst for corporate change by progressive companies. IBM and Johnson & Johnson are the only two names to appear on the list for each of the 17 years.
For the record, the CornerBarPR.comSM management team is 50 percent female and 100 percent woman-friendly.
